The Arts Center’s 2016 Loving Bowls Event in the Art Barn1 min read

One of Sedona’s favorite annual events, Sedona Arts Center’s super creative Loving Bowls takes place at the historic Art Barn, Saturday, December 10 from Noon to 3pm, for a veritable medley of ceramic goodness and a thousand beautiful objects waiting to find a new home. Over 1100 bowls and ceramic pieces can be yours for $10 each—lovingly made by Arts Center volunteer potters and ceramicists and carefully glazed in their studio by the indefatigable Cliff and Katie Hamilton. Loving Bowls will also feature a silent auction of unique original art and items generously donated by Sedona Arts Center members.

But wait, there’s more! A wonderful collection of hand-made glass bowls, courtesy of the Art Center’s partner The Melting Point, will also be featured and ready to take home for $30 and $50. And the Arts Center has added a new twist: a limited edition of larger hand-made serving bowls perfect for family size tables and things like salad, pasta dishes, and large desserts—for the bargain price of $30. As always, delicious chili and a desert will be served (thanks to chef Peggy Rivera from the Sedona Community Center).

The event only lasts for three hours so arrive early, bring cash or credit card, select an armful of gifts and unique items, and support our 2016 Loving Bowls! Proceeds from the one-day event go to support three wonderful causes: Sedona Community Center, Sedona Food Bank, and Sedona Arts Center. This is all made possible by Ceramics Department head, Dennis Ottand all the wonderful potters, glass-makers, and artists who make this annual creative happening so successful!
