Expect flooding in Sedona1 min read

The National Weather Service in Flagstaff has issued a Flood Advisory for Yavapai County and Coconino County until 10:30 a.m. Friday, Dec. 23.

Dec 22 2016 stormAt 10:30 a.m., gauge reports indicated a 4 foot raise on Oak Creek at the Sedona gauge.

Locations that will experience minor flooding include Sedona, Slide Rock State Park, Cornville, Page Springs, Garland’s Oak Creek Lodge, Red Rock State Park and Manzanita Campground.

This includes Oak Creek and tributary streams and waterways of the creek.
