Sally Jackman Freeman, 85, of Highlands Ranch, Colo., died Dec. 22.

Memorial contributions are suggested to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place Memphis, Tenn., 38105; Shriner’s Orthopedic Hospital for Children, 4400 Clayton Ave, St. Louis, Mo., 63110; or Ohio Westleyen College, 61 S. Sandusky St., Delaware, Ohio, 43015.

A memorial service was held Dec. 29 at the Horan & McConaty Family Chapel in Centennial, Colo.

A 2008 graduate of Michigan State University, Andrew Pardiac was a Larson Newspapers' copy editor and reporter from October 2013 to October 2017. After moving to Michigan, then California, Pardiac was managing editor of Sonoma West Publishers' four newspapers in Napa and Sonoma valleys until November 2019.
