Lucille Ann Pierce, 93, of Sedona, died Jan. 26.

Born in East Chicago, Ind., she was an Arizona resident for 44 years.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Pierce; sister, Ann; and brothers, Stanley, James and Peter.

She is survived by her nieces, Sharon [Tom] Meyer and Darlene ]Ed] Labus; nephews, Jack [Michelle] Krol and Jim [Denise] Krol; and numerous grandnieces and grandnephews.

A memorial Mass took place Saturday, Feb. 4, at St. John Vianney Catholic Church.

A 2008 graduate of Michigan State University, Andrew Pardiac was a Larson Newspapers' copy editor and reporter from October 2013 to October 2017. After moving to Michigan, then California, Pardiac was managing editor of Sonoma West Publishers' four newspapers in Napa and Sonoma valleys until November 2019.
