Betty Timbers, 90, formerly of Sedona, died April 29 in Solvang, Calif.

While in Sedona, she was active in the Sedona Muses, serving as president. She was also a member of the Church of the Red Rocks.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Bob Timbers. She is survived by five children and three grandchildren in California.

In lieu of flowers, contributions are suggested to Atterdag Village or Visiting Nurses and Hospice Care.

A 2008 graduate of Michigan State University, Andrew Pardiac was a Larson Newspapers' copy editor and reporter from October 2013 to October 2017. After moving to Michigan, then California, Pardiac was managing editor of Sonoma West Publishers' four newspapers in Napa and Sonoma valleys until November 2019.
