Swimmers shine at state meet1 min read

Three swimmers from Sedona competed at the Arizona Swimming 2017 Long Course Age Group Championship from Thursday, July 13, to Sunday, July 16, in Phoenix.

14-year-old Andrew Tate of the Sedona Swordfish Swim Team along with 12-year-olds Carlos Lattanzi and Renae Porteous of the Verde Valley High Performance Swim Team were at the meet.

The next big competition for the trio will be the Speedo Long Course Far Western Championships, which runs from Wednesday, July 26, to Sunday, July 30, in Concord, Calif.
