David Gilchrist

Dr. David Gilchrist, of Sedona, died July 20.

He practiced orthopedic surgery at St. Cloud Orthopedics, where he was instrumental in starting the Orthopedic Sports Center. He was named to the St. Cloud State University Sports Hall of Fame for his involvement in their sports medicine program.

He is survived by his wife Virginia; daughter Pamela [James] Brandt and grandsons Abraham and Matthew; son Daniel [Karen] Gilchrist and granddaughters Caroline and Mackenzie; and sisters Jennifer Spado, Nancy Jensen and Susan Gilchrist.
