Show narrates life in the West in summer1 min read

Mountain Trails Gallery Sedona in Tlaquepaque celebrates the summer with its annual summer group painting show, which opens with a reception on First Friday, Aug. 4, from 5 to 8 p.m.

Summer Group Show II features colorful paintings by more than 30 Western artists of figurative subjects such as wildlife, still-life, landscapes, Western artifacts, historical narratives and cultural objects, including ranching and farming life, the Grand Canyon, American Indian cultures, stories of the American frontier and more.

Also featured are bronze sculptures by 15 figurative Western and wildlife sculptors to complement the paintings.

All these summer treasures and more will be available beginning with a reception Friday, Aug. 4, from 5 to 8 p.m. Mountain Trails Gallery is in the Patio de las Campanas courtyard, upstairs Suite A201 in Tlaquepaque, 336 State Route 179.
