Carl James Hunt

Carl James Hunt, of the Village of Oak Creek, died Aug. 14.

Born in Jamaica, Queens, N.Y., he served in United States Air Force as a member of the elite Special Forces division. He served with distinction in Korea, Japan and was a Vietnam veteran.

A mechanic by trade, he moved to the VOC in 1993 and retired in 2012.

He is survived by his wife Maria; children June, Michael and Jed; sister Dolores Schaefer; and six grandchildren.
