Wilbur Dean Wheaton, 84, formerly of the Village of Oak Creek, died Aug. 19 in Meridian, Idaho.

He is survived by his wife Ellen; daughters Wendy [Brian] Den-Herder and Deanna [William] Andrews; son Kevin [Marilee] Wheaton; and six grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, Sept. 9, at 11 a.m. at the Church of the Red Rocks. Contributions in his memory are suggested to Ottawa University, Rainbow Acres or a charity of choice.
