Thomas L. Hettinger, of Sedona, died Sept. 25.

His 1996 retirement included the purchase of his 1985 Porsche 944 race car. He enjoyed racing, and lunches with his Red Rock Racer friends.

He was proceeded in death by his parents, Leonard and Mary Hettinger and brother, Michael Hettinger.

He is survived by his wife, Carol; son Brian; daughter Bonnie [Jay] Pond; three grandchildren; sister Babs [Tom] Lester; and sister-in-law, Joyce Murphy.
