Carl “Mike” Shott, 72, of Cottonwood, died Oct. 30.

He served in the U.S. Marine Corps in Vietnam after graduating from Flagstaff High School. He received a bachelor of science degree in education from NAU in 1976.

He is survived by his wife Nancy, son Owen and daughter Julie.

A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 7, at Windmill Park in Cornville. In lieu of flowers, donations are suggested to his Wells Fargo Bank memorial account.
