Violet Sutkus, 94, of Downers Grove, Ill., and Sedona, died Dec. 9.

She lived in Downers Grove before moving to Sedona in 2005. She worked at Pepperidge Farm bakery, becoming a supervisor.

She was preceded in death by her husband Stanley and her son Stan Jr.

She is survived by her daughter Nancy [Barry] Friedman, grandchildren Bridget and Frank, five great-grandchildren, her sister Joan Elslager and two nieces.

A private family memorial will be held in the coming months.
