Lorraine Alvey, 79 of Cottonwood, died Dec. 29 in Flagstaff.

She was a volunteer with St. Vincent De Paul.

She was preceded in death by her parents Joe and Rose Sperke.

She is survived by her husband Mike Alvey; son Lary [Shelia] Alvey of Cottonwood; brother Donny [Sid] Sperke of Prescott; sisters Charlotte [Manny] Cantu of Pine and Dodie [Rus] Carmichael of Prescott; and granddaughter Aubre Alvey of Cottonwood.

Donations are suggested to St. Vincent De Paul in Cottonwood.
