Loretta J. Benore, 85, of the Village of Oak Creek, died Dec. 21.

She held degrees in history, criminal justice and public policy. She worked in Colorado’s First Judicial District Attorney’s office.

She was a docent at the Sedona Heritage Museum, member of University Women of Sedona and a founding member the Sedona Questers.

She is survived by her husband, David, and children Jennifer McIllwain of Florida, and Matthew Benore and Jeremy Benore, both of Colorado.

Services have been held.
