Patricia A. Nelson, of the Village of Oak Creek, died Jan. 28.
She taught at West Sedona Elementary and Big Park Elementary Schools and published four books for kindergarten teachers.
She is survived by her husband Carl; son Greg [Elizabeth] of Scottsdale; daughter Laurel [Brian] of Virginia; six grandchildren; brother Steve Smith of Colorado; and sister Donna Moore-Ede of Massachusetts.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, March 9, at 10:30 a.m. at Christ Lutheran Church in Sedona.
