Stan Rose, a former lawyer and weather forecaster turned award-winning nature photographer, has opened a new gallery of fine art photography in the Hillside Shopping Center at 671 SR 179 in Sedona.
Rose has used his knowledge of the weather to compile a portfolio of atmospheric moody images of American Landscapes, from Sedona and beyond. His work has appeared in books, magazines and calendars around the world.
Rose’s goal is to create a sense of presence with the images, to bring the viewer into the scene and share the photogÂrapher’s experience in capturing it.
Come visit Hillside to see this collection of some of nature’s most striking scenes. Prints are available in a variety of sizes and formats.
The gallery is open Wednesday through Monday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. The gallery is closed Tuesdays.
