The Arizona Department of Transportation advises drivers to plan for lane restrictions on northbound Interstate 17 between mileposts 334 and 340, from Kachina Village to the Interstate 40 junction, in Coconino County while a pavement-repair project is completed.
Work is scheduled from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m. Sundays through Fridays, from July 11 to 26. The speed limit will be reduced to 55 mph.
The restrictions are required for crews to complete reconstruction and repair of the pavement. Drivers should proceed through the work zone with caution, slow down and watch for construction personnel and equipment.
