“You don’t have to wait until the actual AZ Gives Day date of April 7. Sedona Arts Center is one of the more than 700 nonprofit organizations expected to participate in Arizona Gives Day, an online fundraising initiative on Tuesday, April 7, 2020. Presented by FirstBank, Arizona Gives Day will bring together Arizonans from across the state to raise awareness and financial support for nonprofit organizations statewide.

The Sedona Arts Center’s mission to nurture creativity through learning, sharing and artistic development is important to the community and the over 100 artists that are represented in their gallery. Supporting local nonprofits is important, especially during challenging times. Arizonans are encouraged to help make a difference by investing in the nonprofit of their choice annually on Arizona Gives Day.

“Your contribution on Arizona Gives Day is important support for all that we provide on an ongoing basis as a community Arts Center,” says Executive Director, Vince Fazio, “Challenging times give us a unique opportunity to engage our creativity. We have always wanted to expand our offerings into an online format, this crisis and closures of various aspects of the center creates both the need and opportunity to implement this technology. Our first online course is an iPhoneography Crash Course, Saturday March 28. Your donation ensures that we continue to offer innovative, quality programming.”

“Since the inaugural event in 2013, Arizona Gives Day has raised more than $17 million for Arizona nonprofits. Arizonans continue to show their commitment and support to nonprofits through their giving. We are excited for the 2020 Arizona Gives Day and to further showcase the important work our nonprofits are doing in our communities,” said Jennifer Purcell, Vice President of Community Engagement of the Alliance of Arizona Nonprofits.

The Arizona Gives Day early giving began on March 17 and will continue through Arizona Gives Day, April 7. Participating organizations will have the chance to win a portion of a $184,500 prize pool including most dollars raised and power hours to name a few.

To support Sedona Arts Center, go to https://www.azgives.org/sedonaartscenter and donate or create your own personal fundraising page to help them reach their fundraising goal of $23,000. All Arizona Gives Day donations will directly support their mission to nurture creativity through learning, sharing and artistic development.
