The Arizona Department of Transportation is advising drivers of lane closures on State Route 89A east of Sedona at Midgley Bridge (milepost 376) and Oak Creek Bridge (milepost 381) beginning Monday, April 27, and ending Thursday, April 30. The lane closures are needed to complete resurfacing of the bridge decks.
The four-day resurfacing work is scheduled from 4 a.m. to 7 p.m.
During this time, the bridges will be narrowed to a single lane with flaggers directing traffic. Drivers can expect delays of up to 15 minutes, an ADOT released stated.
Motorists should allow extra travel time, slow down in the work zone and use caution around construction personnel and equipment.
