Spectrum providing free COVID-19 testing in Sedona Aug. 291 min read

Spectrum Healthcare is providing free COVID-19 testing in Sedona on Saturday, Aug. 29.

Testing will be availĀ­able from 8 a.m. to noon at Sedona Red Rock High School, 995 Upper Red Rock Loop Road. Call 634-2236 for more information.

Spectrum Healthcare encourages everyone to pre-register on their website at spectrumhg,org.

When registration is complete, it expedites testing. There is no need to bring ID or insurance inforĀ­mation to the day of testing. Spectrum Healthcare will gather demographic inforĀ­mation for anyone who is not registered.

On the day of testing through and stop at a few tents. The first tent will verify registration, or perform registration, as well as answer any quesĀ­tions. The second tent will collect a nasal swab.

The specimens go to the lab on Aug. 29. Patients will be called or emailed with results as soon as they are received, which is about three days.
