Jan Boaz Oden, of Sedona, died April 16.
She studied fine art and commercial art. A 31-year U.S. Department of the Army civilian employee, she illustrated and designed educational materials and publications. Her talents included quilting, painting, basket weaving, and upon moving to Sedona, sculpting.
She was preceded in death by her husband Clint Oden and son Chris Oden.
She is survived by daughters Karen Timmons and Wendy Oden of Sedona; son Eric Oden; two grandsons and a granddaughter.
