Cathy Sue Fathi, 70, of Sedona, died May 13.
She worked as a special education teacher and for Disney Travel and Disney Stores. She retired to Sedona in 2013.
She is survived by her husband, Vahid; children, Ali Fathi, Mehdi [Carrie] Fathi and Farah Fathi; brother Ted [Shannon] Williams; sister Mary Jo [Kevin “Chukk”] Haselhorst; nieces and nephews and their families; and foreign exchange student sister Mimi [Firooz] Milanifar.
A private celebration of life will take place in Redfield, Ill., in the future. The family requests no memorials or flowers.
