Valerie Kay Singer, of Sedona, died April 22.
After retiring, she and her husband moved to Sedona, where they became involved in many activities. She loved gourmet cooking, entertaining and animals.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Tony.
She is survived by her stepdaughters, Maureen [Greg] Kapp and Michelle Martinez, four granddaughters, friends and her dog Charlie.
A celebration of life will be held from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday, July 9 at Steakhouse 89. Donations in her memory are suggested to an animal shelter or humane society.
