Joel Lindsay Ekstrom, 92, of Sedona, died Aug. 1.
A U.S. Army veteran, he graduated from MIT with a bachelor’s degree in engineering and John’s Hopkins University with a master’s degree. He worked at several firms in the Boston area and McLean, Va.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Railsback; daughters Helen [Steven] Burns and Elizabeth Grady; son Joel L. [Betty] Ekstrom, Jr.; five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations are suggested to Circle of Life or Maggie’s Hospice in Prescott.
