Harlan Erwin Oelklaus, of Sedona, died Oct. 6.
Born St. Charles, Mo., he earned a bachelor’s degree in economics and an MBA. He spent his career in human resources and later handled a family business. After retiring to Sedona in 2015, he enjoyed golfing.
He is survived by his wife, Nancy; sister Donna Klaus and brother Ronnie Oelklaus; son Todd [Scotti]; stepson Brett McClaran; stepdaughter Anne [Dan Batz] McClaran; and granddaughters. Madeline [Jamison] Roney and Mallari McClaran.
Donations in his memory are suggested to Alcoholics Anonymous or Christ Lutheran Church.
