Joan Farnsworth, 86, of Sedona and Skowhegan, Maine, died Dec. 16.
She served as Registar of Voters in Skowhegan for almost 40 years, and founded the Somerset Humane Society. She loved gardening, fly fishing, bird-watching, making stained glass items, playing bridge, baking, cooking, and family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert.
She is survived by her daughters, Julie Brown, Sarah [Deane] Tracy, Laura [Bill] Mullen and Jen [Joe Zani] Farnsworth; a brother; grandchildren and extended family members.
A celebration of life will be announced later.
