Marilyn Dyer, of the Village of Oak Creek, died Feb. 6.
While living in Texas, she was a geophysical technician and columnist. After retirement, she wrote and published her autobiography. She was a volunteer at Red Rock State Park for 10 years with 2,500 hours of service.
She was preceded in death by her son, Bruce.
She is survived by her husband of 71 years, Herbert; brother Floyd Fasnacht; daughter Gretchen [T. Kent] Prater; and Travis Prater.
Memorials are suggested to the Bruce Wayne Dyer Memorial Scholarship, Northern Arizona University Foundation.
