Deborah Ann Leatherwood, formerly of Sedona, died May 20, in Mexico.
Born in Marion, N.C., she moved to Sedona in 1991, and later purchased Rene’ Restaurant in Tlaquepaque from the original owner, Rene’ Baudat. In 2016, she sold it and retired to San Carlos, Sonora, where she enjoyed friendships, the sea and the environment.
She is survived by her sister, Carol Adams; nephews, Reggie Rowell, Chris Rowell and Reed Rowell; and niece, Lori Ann Manship.
A celebration of her life will be announced via Facebook in the coming months.
