Sedona Arts Center is holding its first-ever Art Supply Swap Meet on Saturday, Aug. 26, in the Theater Studio from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. A $5 donation gets you one bag to fill up with supplies and materials.
This was an idea that came to us when we were conducting surveys in preparation for our Strategic Plan. Being a person who hordes art supplies, this idea piqued my interest. We are excited to include this event in our line-up.
So if you are an artist or creative and have an overabundance of art supplies that are new or gently used that simply don’t suit your needs; or you want to jump start your creative practice with something new; or you just want to meet other artists and creatives – please pay attention.
If you have new or gently used art supplies or materials, they must be dropped off prior to the Swap Meet between Monday and Friday, Aug. 21 to 25, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Sedona Arts Center Theater Studio in the Art Barn, 15 Art Barn Road, Uptown. In exchange you will get a free pass to attend the meet.
