David Michael Long, 76, of Sedona, died Oct. 8.
A board-certified thoracic and vascular surgeon and Fellow of the American College of Vascular Thoracic Surgeons, he was in private practice for over 35 years in Pittsburgh, Penn., and Westminster, Colo.
He is survived by his wife, Susan Long; daughter, Meghan [Tracy] Lauby; three brothers and a sister; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Services will be private, with a celebration of life in Sedona on April 20, 2024. In lieu of flowers, donations are suggested to Roaring Fork Conservancy.
