Marjorie “Marj” Theresa LaRock McEwen, 94, formerly of Sedona, died in October 2023.

After spending her early life in California, she and her husband Mike retired to Sedona in 1994, where she was active in the Sedona Westerners hiking club and a local Buddhist community, as well as in sculpting, drawing and painting.

She is survived by six children, 16 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
