Masako Shirai, 92, of Sedona, died Feb. 25.

She was an artist, an accomplished potter and the owner of Garendo Gallery in Studio City, Calif., since 1972. She also led many tours of Japanese art sites.

She is survived by her children, Elisabeth and Eric; and grandchildren, Jesse, Dylan and Mia.
