Gilbert Ruthrauff, 94, of Sedona, died March 31.

Born in Pittsburgh, Kan., he moved to Dewey, Okla., in 1945. After an honorable discharge from the U.S. Air Force, he attended Oklahoma A&M, earning a degree in business administration. He eventually relocated to California where he met and married Alberta Caywood in 1964. Upon her death, he moved to Cottonwood Village, then Sedona Winds.

He is survived by his stepdaughter, Carol.
