Ruth Kane, 93, formerly of the Village of Oak Creek, died April 19.

Born in Detroit, she married Dick Kane in 1955 and they retired to the Sedona area in 1993. She was active in the Sedona Muses, chaired the board of the Big Park Domestic Wastewater Improvement District and was a member of Church of the Red Rocks.

She was preceded in death by her husband, and is survived by her sons, Jim and John, and her sister Peggy.
