Sai Yoon Chang, 87, formerly of Sedona, died April 24.
He held a Ph.D. in analytical biochemistry and worked in the pharmaceutical industry on drug development techniques involving mass spectrometry. He was an avid hiker and a devoted amateur violinist.
He is survived by his wife, Marion; daughter, Natasha [Timothy]; granddaughter, Viviana; sisters, Saeshin, Saesoon Lee and Saekyoung [Irene]; and nieces and nephews.
