Christine De Ruyter, 69, of Clarkdale, died April 30.

She loved to volunteer and did so at the Clarkdale Police Department, with AARP taxes at the Verde Valley Senior Center and at numerous other places.

She is survived by her husband, Phil; brother, Charles [Sharon]; stepson, Philip; and stepdaughter, Keely.

Per her wishes, no services will be held. Donations may be made to your favorite charity.
