Barney Garrison, 101, of the Village of Oak Creek, died Sept. 21.

Born in Paducah, Tex., he graduated from Rice University with a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering, served in the U.S. Navy during World War II and married Annie Johnson in 1946. They relocated to the VOC in 1986.

He was predeceased by his son, Gary.

He is survived by his wife, Annie; son, Robert; grandson, Nicholas; and great-granddaughter, Gwendolyn.

A private service will be held at a later date.
