Patricia Theisen, formerly of Sedona, died March 24.

Born in St. Joseph, Miss., she and her husband Arthur worked with the Peace Corps in Kenya and Cameroon before she began a second career as a computer programmer, contributing to the Hubble Space Telescope.

She is survived by four children and four grandchildren.

A service will take place on Oct. 12, from 3 to 5 p.m. at Canyon Mesa Country Club Clubhouse, 500 Jacks Canyon Road in Sedona.
