Robert Flaisig, 96, formerly of Sedona, died Jan. 6.

He worked in aeronautics at McDonnell Douglas before moving on to Sears and later Hughes Aerospace, retiring to Sedona in 1995, where he enjoyed woodworking and keeping up on mysteries and thrillers.

He was predeceased by his wife, Mary, on Dec. 31, 2024.

He is survived by his sister, Mary, and her children, Joseph and Jennifer.
