Get Your Portfolios Ready: Sedona Arts Center Now Calling for New Gallery Artists2 min read

Sedona Arts Center is calling for new gallery artists, and encourages local creative people to apply. The Fine Art Gallery, located in Uptown Sedona, greets 2500 visitors each month, and sells all forms of visual art—from textiles and jewelry to bronze sculpture, photography, craft objects, painting and ceramics. The Arts Center’s current gallery roster comprises 110 of the regions most interesting and productive artists, who are supported and promoted year-round.

“Because of the quality and diversity of their work, they have helped Sedona Arts Center reach a new level of refinement,” says Kath Gilliam, the nonprofit organization’s Board Chair. “Our visitors and art collectors come form all over the world, and all say the same thing” they are amazed by the range and quality of art represented.”

Those wanting to become a Sedona Arts Center gallery artist should complete an application and submit a portfolio before the end of July. For help, guidance, and assistance with the process, contact the fine art gallery team at 928-282-3865. Artists working in any medium or fine art or traditional or modern craft are welcome to apply. An independent jury will review all submissions in August, and artists will be notified of the outcome by September.

“We think the Fine Art Gallery is a jewel in the Sedona Arts Center crown,” says Gilliam. “And we invite artists in Northern Arizona and the Verde Valley to apply for consideration, become part of our cultural organization, and join the Arts Center’s creative family.”

Applications are accepted once yearly by Sedona Arts Center during the month of July.

Sedona Arts Center is a nonprofit organization based in Uptown and dedicated to the creative life of Sedona.
