Back for a fourth year, the Tlaquepaque’s Holiday Sweet Stroll warmly welcomes everyone for even more holiday cheer. Come join the fun Saturday, Dec. 17, from 3 to 7 p.m.

Tlaquepaque’s participating gallery and shop owners will be in a sweet giving mood. Bring your shop-til-you-drop best self and enjoy wonderful hand-baked treats, candies, hot spiced cider, international chocolates, eggnog, liqueurs, cookies and more. Then be sure to take advantage of holiday discounts, gifts-with-purchase options and even a raffle.

Admission is free and, for convenience, consider parking in the two Uptown parking lots — at 260 Schnebly Road and 250 Brewer Road. Take the free trolley to and from Tlaquepaque from 3 to 7 p.m.

Tlaquepaque is known far and wide for handcrafted and artisan-made goods, not to mention hundreds of world-class artists who show in the galleries. Those who haven’t visited Tlaquepaque in a while will be amazed at what is in store.

The Holiday Sweet Stroll is jam-packed fun for the whole family. In between store visits you’ll find fun for kids, musical entertainment, including the Dicken’s Carolers, Red Rock Appella, DiVom Jazz Trio, Aaron White and more. Santa will be on hand for any last-minute wishes. A giant snow globe will captivate kids of all ages, and youngsters get to meet their favorite superheroes like Captain America and Spiderman, along with Ariel and

princesses. When hunger strikes, enjoy any of the five restaurants with bountiful cuisine options to satisfy every taste. Reservations are recommended.

Tlaquepaque is awash with beautiful light this season. Its gorgeous giant sycamore trees are wrapped in thousands of LED lights throughout the property including those in Tlaquepaque North. New this year is the Tinsel Town extravaganza, held through Sunday,

Jan. 1. Formerly known as Red Rock Fantasy at the Los Abrigados Resort, this display is sure to add even more holiday enjoyment to a visit.
