Donald MacIlraith, 93, of Sedona, died May 4.

He was a past board member and past president of the Sedona Duplicate Bridge Club, a Gold Life Master of the American Contract Bridge League and former member of Oakcreek Country Club.

He is survived by his wife Joy MacIlraith; children Steve MacIlraith of Sacramento and Jill Gittleman of Sedona; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

A celebration of his life will be held at a later date; the family requests no flowers.

A 2008 graduate of Michigan State University, Andrew Pardiac was a Larson Newspapers' copy editor and reporter from October 2013 to October 2017. After moving to Michigan, then California, Pardiac was managing editor of Sonoma West Publishers' four newspapers in Napa and Sonoma valleys until November 2019.
