Where are you from?
Sedona.
What sports do you play?
I play tennis and golf.
Which is your favorite? Why?
Tennis. The team environment is just probably the greatest I’ve ever found and I love the coaches.
When did you start playing?
It was really I think in the summer of eighth grade that I really got serious about it.
Which is your favorite sports team and/or athlete?
I love the Arizona Coyotes, but my favorite athlete is Serena Williams.
Favorite pump up music right now?
Anything by Queen.
Favorite class in school?
I love science class.
Do you have any prematch routines or superstitions?
Sunscreen, I always have to wear sunscreen.
Describe your coach in one word.
She’s very compassionate.
Describe yourself in one word.
Very willing.
What makes a good teammate?
Communication.
What are the benefits of playing high school sports?
It can really help create a good environment for you, and if you’re good at it it can help you get to college.
What’s your most memorable sports moment so far?
My most memorable was when I was down a whole game and I did not think I could ever come back and then I came back and I won that set.
What are your future goals?
My future goals are to graduate college, hopefully with a bachelor’s and master’s degree. I’d love to do something in the medical field. I really love writing so hopefully I can do something with that.
