Southbound I-17 closes to one lane at SR 169

The Arizona Department of Transportation has scheduled guardrail repair work on Interstate 17 near State Route 169 and Table Mesa Road during overnight and early morning hours Monday through Wednesday, Aug. 20 through 22. While maintenance occurs, the roadway will be narrowed to one lane.

The left lane of southbound I-17 will be closed near SR 169 between mileposts 275 and 273 from 6 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 21, to 6 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 22.

Drivers should proceed through the work zone with caution, slow down and watch for construction personnel and equipment.

  • Southbound I-17 will be narrowed to one lane (left lane closed) near SR 169 between mileposts 276 to 274 from 6 to 11:59 p.m. Monday, Aug. 20.
  • Northbound I-17 will be narrowed to one lane (left lane closed) near Table Mesa Road between mileposts 236 to 238 from 12:01 to 6 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 21.
  • Southbound I-17 will be narrowed to one lane (left lane closed) near SR 169 between mileposts 275 to 273 from 6 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 21, to 6 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 22.
