Harriet Minton Strand

Harriet Minton Strand, 93, formerly of Sedona, died Aug. 27 in San Juan Capistrano, Calif.
A noted artist and arts educator, she and her husband, Owen, lived in Sedona 13 years until his passing in 2003.
She is survived by her son, Robin Strand; daughter Sally Ellis; sister Cosette Lang; and four grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, Oct. 27, in Laguna Beach, Calif. Memorial contributions are suggested to the American Cancer Society or the American Heart Society.
