The Sedona Winefest returns for the 11th year with two days of wine, live music, art and more. Saturday and Sunday, Sept. 28 and 29, thousands of others can join locals by enjoying a nice glass of wine and listening to live music with friends while enjoying the picturesque views of the red rocks, as they attend the 11th annual Sedona Winefest, taking place at Posse Grounds Park.
An opening night party on Friday, Sept. 27, at 6 p.m. at Sound Bites Grill will kick off this weekend of wine. Will Donato will perform live jazz and guests can indulge in dinner and drinks.
From 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., Saturday and Sunday, come enjoy wine time at this year’s festival will feature 25-plus Arizona wineries, music, food trucks and free chair massages. A Plein Air Paint-Out organized by the artists of the Sedona Arts Center will be offered Saturday. Local favorites the Naughty Bits will take to the stage on Sunday. A variety of artisan vendors will be in attendance and selling their wares.
Wineries that will be in attendance this year include Alcantara Winery, Arizona Angel, Arizona Stronghold Vineyards, Birds and Barrels Vineyards, Bodega Pierce, Burning Tree Cellars, Caduceus Cellars, Carlson Creek Vineyard, Cellar 433, Chateau Tumbleweed, Deep Sky Vineyards, Del Rio Springs Vineyard, Four Eight Wine Works, Four Tails Vineyard, Grand Canyon Wine Co., Heart Wood Cellars, High Lonesome Vineyards, Laramita Cellars, Merkin Vineyards, Oak Creek Winery, Oddity Wine Collective, Odyssey Cellars, Page Springs Cellars, Provisioner, Southwest Wine Center, Su Vino Winery, Village of Elgin, Winery 101 and Winery 1912.
Tickets to this year’s event are $35 per person per day or a two-day pass for $50 in advance at sedonawinefest.com or $40 per person per day at the door. Entry includes six wine tasting tickets and a commemorative glass. Additional tasting tickets will be available for sale at the event. There is free entry for kids and non-wine tasters.
