According to Fire Marshal Jon Davis, of the Sedona Fire District, a house at the intersection of Acacia Drive and Geneva Drive in Mystic Hills caught fire around 7:30 am on Friday.

Davis said a roofing company was putting tar on the roof when employees saw smoke coming from the tar pot, which heats the tar. Fire from the tar pot spread to the house, a forklift and the vehicle of one of the employees. SFD crews contained the fire to the garage area but the rest of the house sustained smoke and water damage, Davis said. No injuries were reported.
