The ever-popular splash pad at Sunset Park will open Saturday, May 1, and stay open through Thursday, Sept. 30.
Located at 655 Sunset Drive, the splash pad is free to the public. The water is on a timer that can be activated between 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily by pushing a button on a fixture on the south side of the pad. Park goers are encouraged to follow splash pad rules such as no running, wear shoes and no dogs permitted.
Sunset Park also boasts two shaded playgrounds and two picnic ramadas that can be rented in addition to two tennis courts and a multi-use court. Children are also sure to enjoy the StoryWalk provided by the Sedona Public Library that meanders through the park along the sidewalk.
For park ramada reservations, please contact the Parks and Recreation Department at (928) 282-7098.
