The deal that would have turned the former Casa Rincon building into a Moroccan nightclub fell through, according to Rick 'Demetri' Wagner.

Wagner, owner of the building, said he is now in escrow with Tom Gilomen, owner of Cowboy Club, The Silver Saddle Room and Redstone Cabin in Uptown.

Gilomen said escrow will close Friday, May 11.

Gilomen declined to comment on his plans for the building until after May 11.

Wagner, who also owns El Rincon in Tlaquepaque, said he decided to close Casa Rincon around Thanksgiving. Casa Rincon operated at the West Sedona location for nine years.

Originally, Wagner entered escrow to sell the property to a buyer who wanted to turn the space into a dance club called Oasis. That deal was supposed to close Feb. 9, but Wagner said it "just didn?t work out."
